You want to end your daily drinking struggle, you are ready to end your daily drinking struggle, you want to live a life of fulfillment, peace, happiness, connection and love.
You want to enjoy peaceful, loving nights in, relaxed and content, safe in your choices and without a drink
And fun, exciting times out without any need for a drink to ‘enhance’ life’s experiences.
To do that, you know you have to change your relationship with alcohol.
You know it’s time, but you just can’t imagine a life without it.
You’re stuck in a cycle where you’ve tried everything, and while you’ve made so many positive changes in your life with ease, when it comes to alcohol, you always ‘fail’ and alcohol continues to have a hold on you.
The fact that you can’t get this under control is driving you mad.
You’ve set goals, achieved new things, and transformed parts of your life, but alcohol still feels like a constant, confusing battle you just can win.
Every time you think you’ve got it figured out, the cycle begins again.
You wonder, Why is this so hard when everything else in my life seems to come together?
Here’s the truth: the control you long for doesn’t come from focusing on alcohol, or changing your drinking itself.
The control you seek comes from a deeper place—through new awareness, personal growth, and self-compassion.
The awareness and development and practice of these are how alcohol goes from being the thing that dominates your thoughts, your feelings, and your life to becoming a small, irrelevant part of your world—something you can take or leave without it affecting your peace or sense of self.
This isn’t a journey of struggle or stress, this is a journey of JOY.
Why This Approach Will Work for You
This isn’t another “try harder” method. It’s not about fighting alcohol or denying yourself what you want. The reason my approach works is simple: it addresses the root cause of your drinking – your alcohol beliefs, that are the creator of your exhausting Alcohol Noise, and your lack of self-knowledge.
If you’ve tried everything and still feel stuck, it’s because focusing only on controlling your drinking doesn’t address the deeper needs driving your behavior.
Lasting change isn’t about more willpower or forcing yourself to stop. It’s about changing how you think, feel about alcohol, and how you relate to it.
Here’s why this approach will work for you:
- You’re Not Alone in This: Many women have walked this path before you, feeling just as stuck, frustrated, and helpless. They’ve achieved incredible transformations by shifting their focus from willpower to understanding the root causes of their drinking habits. You can do this too.
- It’s Not About Struggling: This is not a journey of deprivation or endless battles. It’s about reconnecting with yourself in a way that makes alcohol irrelevant. You will no longer need alcohol to fill any emotional gap, handle stress, or navigate social situations.
- Personal Growth is Key: The shift happens when you tap into your deeper self—your true desires and values. When you reconnect with your authentic self, alcohol becomes something that no longer defines you. This transformation doesn’t require a lifetime of struggle. It’s a shift in mindset that frees you.
- Self-Compassion Leads to Change: The ONLY hard part of breaking free from alcohol is often the self-criticism and guilt that comes with it.
- My approach emphasizes self-compassion, allowing you to release those negative emotions and replace them with growth and understanding. You’ll learn to treat yourself with kindness, and this mindset shift will naturally reduce the need for alcohol.
My Journey: From Alcohol Fight to Freedom
I’ve been where you are, and for far longer than I needed to be once I understood what was really going on.
For 29 years I felt trapped by alcohol, desperate to not drink, and fearful of how I could live/cope without it.
Without being aware of it, I had allowed myself to buy into a powerful belief that alcohol ‘helped me’ relax, unwind, feel confident, cope, make my life easier, and so alcohol become my quickest, easiest way to deliver comfort and relief – even though my drinking was destroying me and my life.
And no matter how hard I fought, I failed. Until I realized that battling alcohol with fight and willpower alone was never going to work.
What changed everything for me was understanding that the real problem wasn’t the alcohol—it was my beliefs about it being my only comfort, which was the driver of my relationship with it.
I shifted my focus from fighting alcohol, and started focusing on personal growth, developing awareness, and practicing self-compassion.
What I learnt on this, very different journey, very beautiful journey, released any thoughts or feelings of ‘needing’ a drink, and alcohol no longer had a hold on me.
Alcohol became irrelevant, I could have a glass out of choice, or not.
There was no mind battle, no fight, just choice, instead of ‘need’ . This is true freedom.
This is the transformation I now guide my clients through with the Rapid Alcohol Control Method.
How My Work Will Transform Your Life
My unique 6 x week Rapid Alcohol Control Method isn’t about focussing on alcohol, or putting restrictions on your life—it’s about transforming how you think, feel, and act around alcohol and how you think, feel and act around YOU.

Here’s what you’ll experience:
- Increased Awareness: You’ll understand why alcohol has been your go-to, and how to release the need for it. Once you understand the root causes, you’ll feel empowered to make lasting changes with confidence and ease.
- Personal Growth: You’ll reconnect with your authentic self (this is the beautiful journey) — aligning your actions with your true desires. When you do this, you no longer need alcohol to cope or relax, or for any form of ‘comfort’ – you are your comfort.
- Self-Compassion: Through this work, you’ll learn to treat yourself with kindness and forgiveness, removing the guilt and shame that fuels the cycle of your daily drinking habit.
- Freedom From the Cycle: You’ll break free from the emotional and mental cycle of drinking and regret. Alcohol will no longer have any hold over you, and you will step into a life of true freedom and peace.

“In week ONE my drinking changed. I was drinking a bottle of wine a night and sometimes a bit more and last week I had NONE. Do you ever feel like alcohol has a voice in your head that won’t shut up?
That constant mental chatter—should I drink, should I not, do I deserve it, how will I feel tomorrow?……..its the exhausting back and forth that always ends the same way…
Another glass of wine, another bottle empty, when all you really wanted was a little peace and comfort.
I call this ‘alcohol noise,’ and it’s the main reason why your drinking feels so hard to control.
Because right now, drinking seems like the only way to shut it up!
Your alcohol noise is the persistent, relentless cycle of thoughts and emotions that pull you toward drinking, even when deep down, you don’t want to.
It’s the exhausting battle in your head—convincing yourself you’ll just have one, bargaining to wait until later, and then feeling the crushing frustration and helplessness when you give in.
The truth is, those who don’t struggle with alcohol don’t experience this noise.
They can take drink or leave it. And to those of us trapped in our battle, watching someone able to ‘leave it’ seems incredibly strong, when the truth is, there is no fight.
But for you, when you’re stuck in alcohol noise, it feels like alcohol is in control of you—not the other way around.
So I want to offer you hope and support, because I know there is a way out.
You can release all your alcohol noise and find the comfort you’re truly looking for.
And you don’t have to fight cravings or rely on willpower, you just need to understand where this noise comes from and how to quiet it for good.
Let me walk through the process of release that starts with awareness and ends with freedom.
Where Does Alcohol Noise Come From?
Your alcohol noise starts with a belief—the belief that alcohol brings you comfort, escape, or relief.
It’s not the drink itself that creates the pull; it’s the thoughts and emotions behind it. When you believe alcohol helps you relax, feel confident, or cope, your mind keeps reinforcing that idea over and over.
That’s why it feels so hard to say no. You’re not craving the alcohol; you’re craving the comfort you think it gives you.
But reflect on this truth……..If alcohol truly brought comfort, you wouldn’t see your drinking as a problem.
The comfort you’re searching for isn’t in the drink—it’s in how you meet your deeper needs.
Instead of reaching for another glass, you need to recognize what you really need in that moment—whether it’s rest, connection, or simply a moment of calm—and learn to meet those needs in a way that truly comforts you.
Now you have the awareness of what Alcohol Noise really is, I will move on to how to end it.
How to End Alcohol Noise Once and for All
You cannot fight your way out of alcohol noise. The more you fight it, the louder it becomes.
Ending alcohol noise isn’t about willpower; it’s about changing your perception of it.
Here’s how you can begin to quiet the noise and regain control:
1. Recognize the Noise for What It Is
Alcohol noise thrives on repetitive thoughts and emotions—stress, boredom, loneliness.
Recognizing that these thoughts are just noise—not truth—gives you back control.
Ask yourself: What am I really looking for right now?
2. Challenge the Belief That Alcohol Brings Comfort
When you believe alcohol brings relief, your mind clings to it. But the reality is, it’s never been about the drink—it’s about what you associate with it.
Next time alcohol noise kicks in, remind yourself:
I don’t need alcohol for comfort. I need real rest, real connection.
3. Take Ownership of Your Choices
You created the belief that alcohol brings comfort innocently, and now it’s your responsibility to change it—without guilt or blame. Taking conscious responsibility gives you the freedom to make different choices.
Instead of thinking, I can’t have a drink, say:
I choose comfort over alcohol
4. Reconnect With Your Needs
True comfort comes when you reconnect with yourself. Whether it’s taking a walk, enjoying a heartfelt conversation, or simply sitting in stillness—finding what truly satisfies you helps alcohol lose its grip.
5. Let Go of the Need for Perfection
This isn’t about being perfect; it’s about being honest. It’s not about cutting alcohol out completely but learning how to be in control of it, so it no longer runs your life.
Every small shift you make is a step toward lasting comfort, control and freedom.
The Path to Freedom from Alcohol Noise
Imagine a life where alcohol no longer calls the shots—where you can confidently say ‘no’ without feeling deprived.
That’s what happens when you release alcohol noise.
Without your alcohol noise, you become a drinker who enjoys a glass or two and then stops. Your mind is free from the fight, you don’t associate alcohol with comfort – you become one of the ‘normal’ drinkers you watch in awe as they sip slowly or simply say ‘no thanks’
And if it making the changes you deserve and regaining control of your drinking feels too overwhelming, and you feel too usure, you don’t have to do this alone.
If you’re ready to end your alcohol noise and take back control, my Rapid Alcohol Control Method can help.
Over six weeks, I’ll guide you through the exact steps to free yourself from the cycle—without struggle or stress.
It’s not hard. It’s just a different way of thinking—and it starts with you.

You have come to the point where you know you have to change your drinking – not just for Dry January, but for LIFE.
You can no longer ignore your inner worries about your health, your relationships and your ability to be the best version of yourself – present, connected, at peace with yourself and your past, and free from all your old feelings of anger, guilt and shame.
You long to stand in your true being – happy, fulfilled and authentic.
And you know that changing your drinking is key to living the life you desire and deserve.
So, you manage to stop, you manage a couple of days, a couple of months and you feel AMAZING, proud, happy and you think….’I’ve got this’
And then it all starts to slide away, your thoughts and feelings start to turn to alcohol, you start to turn towards alcohol, the fight begins, your power diminishes and you are back to where you were before, daily drinking, daily guilt, shame and totally confused…..do you recognise your drinking pattern here?
What happened? You were doing so well…what’s wrong with you?
I know there is nothing wrong with you.
And there is definitely no mystery around why you are falling back into the same old ways of non-coping with alcohol….
Here’s the truth and the answer you need to hear.
Stopping drinking is just the beginning of your journey. It’s a wonderful, empowering first step, but stopping is not enough for you to stay sober for life.
Because a sober life isn’t just about not being drunk.
There is a broader spectrum to drinking, that takes it from problem, to social……
It’s about not needing a drink. It’s the difference of being in control or out of control.
Living sober is about being in total control of your choices. It’s about drinking differently, enjoying a couple of glasses with dinner or friends on a special social occasion, and then switching to something non-alcoholic with grace and ease.
Staying sober is about recognising the difference between an easy social drink, and the out-of-control desires alcohol you feel at other times, when not have a drink just isn’t going to happen.
To live a happy, healthy sober life, you must first accept your drinking habit for what it is, something you have done habitually at certain times (after work is a great example), and the battle in your mind over I must / I mustn’t drink, that is the driver of your habit.
And then its about the wonderful, life changing process of re-connecting with yourself, your deeper unmet needs and the thoughts, feelings and understanding the beliefs you hold (just for now), that alcohol will ease the void created by your learnt self-neglect.
I know from my own experience of regaining total control of my drinking, after 29 years of no control, that the more you take responsibility for discovering your deeper unmet needs;
Maybe your needs for comfort, relaxation, peace.
Or your physically neglected needs for healthy food, good hydration,
Or your emotional needs such as connection, forgiveness, acceptance, joy, and love,
And then the responsibility for meeting those needs, the easier staying on your sober pathway is.
When you know what your true needs are and act on them consistently, you will quickly feel your mind and body fall into its natural, born to experience, rhythm of your life.
In that rhythm, you will automatically start to fill your inner void with what you truly need, and when you do that, alcohol becomes a lovely social glass of something special, and not the panacea that ultimately makes your life so much worse, and you think, feel and drink completely differently.
Your sober life is for you to define. No-one lives your life, no-one ever truly knows your needs. Its up to YOU.
And the truth is, you always have the power to change your drinking, to release old habits, and to take full responsibility for your well-being, and when you do, your drinking and life will change magically.
If you are ready to change your drinking and embark on the most joyful and rewarding journey of your life, let’s talk, you can book your COMPLIMENTARY Take Back Control of Your Drinking Call, HERE.
I’ve done the walk, I know the path to alcohol freedom, and I know how to guide you back to a life of control, fulfilment and JOY.

Are you ready to find true freedom from your exhausting daily cycle of drinking, guilt, and regret?
You long for peace of mind, to feel calm and confident in your choices, and to rediscover your authentic self. And you deserve to live that way.
But if you’ve been trying to change by focusing on alcohol—tracking drinks, setting rules, or wrestling with guilt—you’ve likely found that the success is only temporary (like Dry January) before slipping back into your old drinking habits, leaving you feeling worse because of your ‘failure’ to stick with it.
The truth is, when you try to change any problem by focusing solely on the problem—in this case, your drinking—it takes up more headspace, creating stress, anxiety, and confusion. And these are just some of the negative feelings that actually fuel your desire for a drink, rather than releasing it.
The harder you fight your thoughts and feelings around alcohol, the stronger the pull becomes.
The Truth About Alcohol and Your Struggle
In my personal experience of 29 years of no control over my drinking—feeling frightened, confused, and facing the effects every morning after—I’ve learned something profound: alcohol is not the problem that needs attention.
The real issue is the invisible Unconscious Beliefs that drive you back to drinking, over and over again.
It’s Not About What You Know; It’s About What You Believe
You probably already know that alcohol isn’t truly helping you relax, solve problems, or feel better. But knowing isn’t enough.
Your life actions, including your drinking, are guided by what you feel unconsciously, not what you know consciously.
If you believe that alcohol is your reward, your escape, or your way to cope, that belief will quietly but super-powerfully shape your choices. And you can’t see these beliefs—they operate beneath the surface, creating patterns of behavior that feel impossible to break.
But when you bring them into the light, the whole dynamic starts to shift.
Awareness Is the Key to Freedom
When you begin to see these Unconscious Beliefs clearly, something shifts. These are often described as ‘light bulb moments’, where you start noticing the patterns they create, even while you’re in them.
But now, instead of feeling overwhelmed or stuck, you feel empowered. You know what to do. You make the best choices for you, and it becomes as natural as breathing.
This is where real change happens—not by fighting against yourself, but by recognizing your Unconscious Beliefs and the patterns they run. It’s that simple.
When there’s no confusion and you can recognize your patterns as they arise, you’re free to make different choices.
You step out of the autopilot cycle with grace and ease. The stress, fear, and internal conflict fade away because you’re no longer fighting an unknown force.
The Answer Is Within You
Once you accept the truth that it’s not alcohol keeping you trapped, it’s the unknown parts of yourself—you are already on the path to freedom and powerful, easy change.
Now you are learning about the beliefs you haven’t yet uncovered that are the real barriers to change. And when you make the unknown known—when you see those beliefs for what they are—you can finally release them.
Imagine a Life Where You’re In Control
Imagine feeling calm and in control, choosing not to drink without stress or second-guessing yourself.
Imagine living with clarity, peace, and the confidence that you’re free to make decisions that truly serve you.
The journey isn’t just about regaining control of your drinking—it’s about creating a life that feels fulfilling, joyful, and authentic.
Alcohol loses its grip when you reconnect with who you are and understand the beliefs shaping your choices. It is as simple as that.
You don’t need to fight harder.
You need to see clearly. That’s where freedom begins. And once you find it, everything else falls into place.
Start Noticing the Patterns
Recognizing the patterns behind your drinking isn’t complicated. It begins with paying attention to your thoughts and feelings in the moments when you feel the urge to drink. These are the breadcrumbs that lead you to the Unconscious Beliefs driving your actions.
Here’s how you can start noticing your patterns:
🌟 Pause and Tune In
The next time you find yourself reaching for a drink, pause for a moment. Ask yourself: What am I feeling right now?
What am I hoping this drink will give me? You might notice feelings like stress, loneliness, boredom, or even frustration.
Perhaps you’re telling yourself, “I deserve this,” “This will help me relax,” or “I can’t deal with this right now without a drink.” These thoughts are clues to the deeper beliefs guiding your choices.
🌟 Look for Repetition
Notice when similar thoughts and feelings arise.Do you always crave a drink after a tough day at work? When you feel ignored or unappreciated? When you’re alone on a Friday night? These are patterns—not just in your actions but in the emotions and beliefs tied to those moments.
🌟 Question the Stories
Once you spot a pattern, gently question it. For example: Do I really need this drink to feel better?
Is this true, or is it just a habit I’ve fallen into?Even this small step of curiosity can start to loosen the grip of those Unconscious Beliefs.
Why You Need Support to Go Deeper
While these steps are a hugely valuable starting point, uncovering and shifting deeply ingrained Unconscious Beliefs requires a deeper process.
This is where I come in.

“I’ve been drinking a bottle of wine a night for years. I get home and the first thing I do is pour a glass of wine. None of my family believe my excuses anymore, and all of them hated my drinking.
Within two weeks of working with Sonia, my drinking had changed dramatically, and so have I. I feel peaceful, relaxed, and there’s no alcohol noise at all. I am loving the journey and the ease and calm at home. Sonia’s process works, and it has changed my life.”
