Did you wake this morning with a thud of regret over last nights drinking?

Did your one glass become 3, then the bottle and maybe more?

Do you remember going to bed?

Or maybe the upset of last nights drinking makes you wish you could forget……….?

You didn’t plan to get drunk. You never do. No-one plans to be a neglectful, emotionally absent mother/wife/partner and yet, that’s where your drinking took you again………

  • How long ago did your drinking start to worry you?
  • When did your pick-me-up-glass of wine, slide into a bottle that drags-you-down?
  • Was it last week, last month, last year, or maybe you can’t even remember when it seems so long ago…..?
  • And how many times have you tried to break your drinking habit?
  • Once, twice, 100 times?
  • And finally, how has your ‘failure’ to change your drinking made you feel about you, and alcohol?

I know it made me frightened, confused and isolated.

I would look at others who could take-it-or-leave it in awe at their strength, and feel despair at my weakness.

Every thing I knew about my drinking compounded my fears. I knew what alcohol was doing to me physically, emotionally, financially and spiritually (although I didn’t know what the spiritual affects where, I felt the immense pain of of not being me).

And in all my knowing, in the information that was available everywhere, I could not change.

Does this resonate with you too?

But the one thing I never questioned, never investigated, just accepted blindly, was the accepted information around problem drinking – that alcohol was the problem – and how hard change would be. And so I stayed trapped.

Until I had a moment of awareness, that led to 1000 other awareness’s that opened my mind to different information, with a different name, WISDOM.

Information is rigid, Wisdom is flexible.

Information is created from other’s experiences, views, testing.

Wisdom is in you, about you and is an easy, joy to act on. It fits you, because it is you.

But while you continue to accept and abdicate your responsibility to relying/believing others information (even though you know it hasn’t worked for you ), you close the door to your Wisdom, and to the freedom from your drinking pain you deserve and desire.

To help you access the insights and new information that leads to your innate Wisdom, that knows and both gently laughs (and weeps at your struggle) at the idea that alcohol is the problem you will have to fight/be vigilant/mindful of, forever, I have created these 10 QUESTIONS, That will Change Your Drinking, Effortlessly.

Just download them, sit with, journal and reflect on you answers, and you will access your wisdom.

The truth within you that tells you everything you need to know and understand to release your alcohol fears, and have the clarity to accept, and act on, the simple self-loving actions that create your clear route from your alcohol pain to peace.
